Abstract

In order to explore molecular mechanism of α-eleostearic acid biosynthesis in Vernicia fordii,a full-length cDNA of LOX gene was cloned by RT-PCR and RACE techniques, and the characters of LOX gene were analyzed by bioinformatics methods. The results show that full-length cDNA of LOX gene is 2 690 bp,and 797 amino acid are encoded.
