Abstract

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety about the treatment of hypertension with amlodipine besylate.Methods:100 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into control group and observation group,n=50,the control group was given nifedipine;the observation group received the treatment with amlodipine besylate. One course lasted 8 weeks. After one course, the two groups were compared on the heart rate, blood pressure and adverse reaction rate. Results:After treatment, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly lower than the control group, the heart rate changes before and after treatment in both groups was not significant;obvious effective rate and effective rate of the observation group was 74.0% and 96.0%,which was higher than 62.0% and 86.0% of the control group;the two groups showed no statistically significant in adverse effects. Conclusion:Amlodipine besylate is a safe and effective treatment for hypertension.
