The Study of the Efficacy and Mechanism of Weitongxiaopi Decoction on the Functional Dyspepsia Rats models with Liver qi depression-type

Objective:To observe of influence of Weitongxiaopi Decoction on gastric residual volume,plasma motilin(MTL)and serum nitric oxide(NO) in functional dyspepsia Rats models with Liver qi depression-type.Methods:The Functional Dyspepsia Rats models with Liver qi depression-type were induced by stimulating rats on tails with forceps clip.then the rats were randomly divided into: Model group,blank control group,Weitongxiaopi Decoction high,medium,low-dose group,and Domperidone group;normal saline、different concentrations of Weitongxiaopi Decoction and Domperidone were given to six groups,fed twice a day by gastrogavage,sustained for 14days;observe of Rats' gastric residual volume,MTL and NO content.Results:Weitongxiaopi Decoction can only significantly reduced gastric residual volume(P0.05),middle dose group more effective than high-and low-dose group(P0.05).Weitongxiaopi Decoction of high,medium-dose group can improve the level of MTL,each dose group were lower NO levels(P0.05).Conclusion:Weitongxiaopi Decoction can improve the level of MTL and reduced secretion of NO,thus reduced gastric residual volume.
