Abstract
Taking the hypocotyl of melon cv.'Huangzuixian' as explants,the effects of MS media with different concentrations of BA and IAA combination on the callus and adventitious bud induction,as well as adventitious buds elongation were investigated.Meanwhile,the effects of MS media with different concentrations of IBA on rooting of regenerative buds were also investigated.The results showed that the optimal medium for inducing melon 'Huangzuixian' callus was MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+IAA 0.5 mg/L and MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+IAA 1.0 mg/L,the optimal medium of adventitious bud induction was MS+BA 2.0 mg/L,and the optimal media of adventitious bud elongation was MS+IAA 1.0 mg/L while the optimal rooting media was 1/2MS+IBA 1.0 mg/L.
