Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and tendency of the utilization of oral antihypertensive drugs in our hospital.METHODS:The oral antihypertensive drugs used in our hospital during 2007-2009 period were analyzed statistically in respect of the consumption sum,DDDs and defined daily cost.RESULTS:The consumption sum of oral antihypertensive drugs in our hospital increased year by year,so did its proportion in the total drug consumption sum, representing 0.97%,1.20% and 1.39%,respectively.The consumption sum of new type expensive oral antihypertensive drugs increased by 27.82% in 2008 vs.41.68% in 2009.CONCLUSION:The new type oral antihypertensive drugs have become the predominant antihypertensive drugs. It is necessary to speed up exploration on effective, safe, economical oral antihypertensive drugs to decrease the medical cost of this kind of drugs and save medical resources.
