Abstract
[Objective] To summarize the clinic diagnosis and treatment methods of severe chest trauma induced acute respiratory distress syndrome.[Methods] Retrospective analysis was performed to 56 patients severe chest trauma induced a-cute respiratory distress syndrome(Acute respiratory distress syndrome,ARDS)in our hospital, and performed statistic analy-sis for diagnosis and treatment results.[Results] Lung protective ventilation and drugs active symptomatic treatment was used for 56 cases with ARDS,47 cases were cured(83.9%),and 9 died(16.1%),and multiple organ failure was the main cause of death.[Conclusion] Early diagnosis and effective therapeutic measures such as the timely processing of multiple injuries, proper use of breathing machine, keeping the airway clear and positive antishock therapy combined therapy can significantly reduce the heavy mortality of chest trauma induced ARDS.
