Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine on auricular herpes zosyer. Methods 60 patients with auricular herpes zosyer were randomly divided into 2 groups. The 30 patients in treatment group were treated by combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine ; the other 30 patients in control group were treated by taking ACV orally, with a treatment course of 10 days for both groups. The therapeutic effects were observed and compared between the two groups after two treatment courses. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 93.33%,which was 53.33% in control group. There was a significant difference between two groups(P0.01). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine on auricular herpes zosyer is superior to that of simple western medicine, without obvious side effects.
