Abstract

Foreignization and domestication are two important translation strategies in English and Chinese translation about culture.The principle of domesticating translation is the style that target language culture oriented;the principle of foreignizing translation is the style that source language culture oriented.This essay analyzes the application of both translating strategies in language translation.
