Abstract
Objective: To establish a rapid, simple, efficient method for extracting human genomic DNA from peripheral blood. Methods: peripheral blood is lysed by adding a chaotropic agent NaI, then genomic DNA is directly extracteded with chloroform: isoamyl alcohol(24∶ 1).Results: The Genomic DNA extracted with this method is of large molecular weight and A 260/280=(1. 87±0.11),(31±3.12)μg DNA can be gained from per milliliter peripheral blood. The results of PCR and restriction endonucleases digestion for the DNA are good. Conclusions: The me thod is simple, rapid ,efficient and could be used to handle a largenumber of clinical samples.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
