Abstract
Objective To establish a rapid simple, efficient method for extracting human genomic DNA from whole blood. Methods Whole blood is lysed by adding a chaotropic agent NaI,then genomic DNA is directly extracteded with chloroform:isoamyl alcohol(24:1). Results The Genomic DNA extracted with this method is of large molecular weight 33.5±3.55μg DNA can be gained from per milliliter whole blood. The results of PCR and restriction endonucleases digestion for the DNA are good. Conclusions The method is simple, rapid ,efficient and could be used to handle a large number of clinical samples.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
