Abstract

Objective To evaluate the treatment of En dov enous laser treatment combined with eletrocoagulation for varicose veins and its effects. Methods To analysis the clinical effects of 46 c ases(58 lower extremities)which were treated with Endovenous laser treatment com bined with eletrocoagulation from March 2004 to September 2004.Result s All the patients were treated with Endovenous laser treatment and eletrocoagulation of varicose veins.5 cases developed subcutaneous induration af ter opetation, 3 cases developed segmental recurrence, 1 case developed hematoma and fever. The rest recovered well. The average time of the operation are 20 mi nuties, the average time in hospitial are 3.5 days. Conclusion Endovenous laser treatment combined with Eletrocoagulation for varicose of the lower extremities is a minimal invasive operation method .
