Study on the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis due to Deficiency of Both Lung and Spleen with the Method of Pricking Blood Therapy with Different Acupoint Prescriptions

cases of allergic rhinitis due to deficiency of both lung and spleen were divided into four groups:Bitong acupoint group(鼻通穴组)30 cases?Xiayingxiang acupoint group(下迎香穴组)30 cases?Tongtian acupoint group(通天穴组)30 cases,and other 30 cases treated with Buzhongyiqi Pills(补中益气丸) were set up as the control group.The symptoms and signs were observed before and after treatment.Result:The effective rate in the near future of the Bitong acupoint group?Xiayingxiang acupoint group?Tongtian acupoint group was 83.3%?93.3%?86.7% respectively,and the effective rate in the far future(1 year) was 52.0%?62.5%?54.5% respectively.While in the control group,the effective rate in the near future was 86.7%,the effective rate in the far future was 52.4%.It suggested that pricking blood therapy had good effect on allergic rhinitis due to deficiency of both lung and spleen,especially with prescription of Xiayingxiang acupoint group.
