Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of Tiaobu Drink combined with acupoint application on the spleen- kidney deficiency and the stagnation of liver qi and heart- kidney incoordination of chronic fatigue syndrome( CFS). Methods: 118 patients with CFS were randomly divided into three groups,Chinese medicine and acupoint application Group 41 cases, oral medicine group 41 cases, oral Wuling capsule group 36 cases. We observed the clinical curative effect of the three groups, and fatigue, sleep disorder and main concomitant symptoms to improve the situation. Results: The effective rate and cure rate were 97. 6%,24. 4% of Chinese medicine combined with acupoint application group. Wuling capsule group' s total effective rate and cure rate were 77.8%,2. 8%. The two groups' total effective rate and cure rate comparison was statistically significant( P 0. 01). Chinese herbal medicine combined with acupoint application group and the Chinese medicine group's total effective rate( 87. 8%) had no significant difference( P 0. 05) and the rate of cure of Chinese traditional medicine group( 7. 3%) was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Tiaobu Drink combined with acupoint application in treating CFS has good clinical effect.
