Qi-reinforcing and Freeing Lung Combined with Acupoint Application for 45 Cases of Allergic Rhinitis

Ninty patients with perennial allergic rhinitis(AR) were randomly divided into two groups,45 cases as treat group(TG) were treated by herbal medicine of qi-reinforcing and freeing lung combined with acupoint application,and 45 cases as control group(CG) were treated by acupoint application only for one month.The curative effects of two groups were evaluated based on the improvement of symptoms and signs respectively at the end of both sessions that is the end of therapy and the following up.Result: There was not distinct difference between TG and CG at the end of the therapy session;but there was obvious difference after one month of stopping administration.Conclusion: The herbal medicine of qi-reinforcing and freeing lung combined with acupoint application is effective for AR,which can last longer period.
