Clinical observations on the thrapeutic effect of losec in preventing cerebral hemorrhage and coma complicated by bleeding stress ulcer

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of losec in preventing cerebral hemorrhage complicated by bleeding stress ulcer.Methods Seven-two cases of cerebral hemorrhage and coma were randomly divided into 3 groups:(1)Intravenous drip of losec;(2)Administration of losec by gastrogavage;(3)Intravenous drip of cimetidine.The gastric juice was drawn from all of the patients to measure a week's successive pH value and the occult blood reaction before and after administration of the drugs.Results pH value of the gastric juice increased from 1.35±0.70(before administration losec)to 5.03±0.76(P0.01)(after).There was no significant difference between the first and second groups(P0.05).Comparison of the first and the second groups with the third group was P0.01.The therapeutic effect of the first group was the same as the second group.The total effective rate was 91.67%.The effective rate of the third group is 66.67%.The ratio between the two groups was significant(P0.05).Conclusion Losec can effectively prevent cerebral hemorrhage complicated by bleeding stress ulcer.
