Observation of the Therapeutic Effect of Losec on Bleeding of Stress Ulcer Complication Acute Cere-brovascular Diseases

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficacy and safety of Losec in the treatment of bleeding of stress ulcer complicating acute cerebrovascular diseases.METHODS: 58 patients with stress ulcer bleeding complicating acute cerebrova.scular disease were randomly devided into study group(30 cases) and control group(28 cases) .The study group received Losec 40mg/d iv drip for 5 days, and the control group Cimitidine 800mg/d iv drip for 5 days.RESULTS:The effective rate and the total effective rate of the study group were 60.00% and 93.33% and those of the control group were 14.29% and 60.71% (P0.01), respectively. The mean hemostatic time of the study group((45.8±1.9) h) was shorter than that of the control group((82.5± 2.8) h) (P0.01) .CONCLUSION: Losec is a safe and effective drug for treating the patients with stress ulcer bleeding complicating acute cerebrovascular disease.
