Abstract
A new environmental friendly catalyst,H3PW12O40/ MCM-48 was prepared.Benzaldehyde glycol acetal was synthesized from benzaldehyde and glycol by using H3PW12O40/ MCM-48 as catalyst according to orthogonal test method.Under the reaction condition of the amount of benzaldehyde is 0.20 mol,the molar ratio of benzaldehyde to glycol is 1∶1.4,the dosage of catalyst is equal to 0.25% of feed stocks,the volume of cyclohexane as the water-carrying agent is 10mL,and the reaction time is 60min,and yield of benzaldehyde glycol acetal can reach over 79.0%.
