Abstract
Benzaldehyde glycol acetal was synthesized from benzaldehyde and ethylene glycol in the present of(CePW_(12)O_(40)).The factors influencing the synthesis were discussed and the better conditions were found as follows: based on 0.1 mol benzaldehyde, the molar ratio of benzaldehyde to ethylene glycol is 1.0/1.7,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 1.0% of the feed stock, the amount of tulene 10 mL and the reaction time is 2.0 h.Under the above conditions its yield can reach over 79.5%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
