Clinical efficacy of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy

Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy on diabetic nephropathy(DN) treated with Benazepril and Chinese herb formula.Methods: 46 patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into 2 groups,the control group was given Benazepril treatment,the observation group was given Chinese herb.After treatment 2 months,during the observation period,24 h urine protein,blood glucose and serum potassium were detected.Results: The blood pressure and urinary protein were decreased after 2 months,urine protein level of the observation group decreased,and was better than that of the control group,there were significant differences in the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: The efficacy of Chinese herb formula in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy is better than Benazepril.
