Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution of irregular antibodies in Pingdingshan region and provide evidence for safe blood supply in clinical application. Methods Using saline method and polvbrene method to screening the irregular antibody in 85 541 samples from January in 2011 to December in 2012. Results 131 blood donors are detected with irregular antibody, with the positive rate of 0. 15%,that is 11 cases of anti-D,7 cases of anti-E,33 cases of anti-M,5 cases of anti-N,21 cases of anti-P1,25 cases of cold antibody,29 cases of unknown antibody, respectively. Among those irregular antibody positive samples,55 cases were from men( 0. 06%),and female 76 cases( 0. 09%),which showed significant difference. Conclusion The positive rate of irregular antibody has taken some proportions in this area. The detection of irregular antibodies in blood donors is important to ensure the safety and effectiveness of clinical blood transfusion.
