New Concept of Teacher Education in Teachers Colleges

Abstract

Teacher education is a general term for the cultivation and training for teachers. The essence is to achieve unification of the pre service training. For a long time, a single and closed teacher cultivation pattern has been formed in China's normal education, which, with the development and reform of China's education, appears to be improper. The concept of teacher education must be established, its connotation and extension enforced so as to realize the effective combination between teacher cultivation and teacher training.
