Abstract

【Objective】To study the protective effect of telmisartan or fosinopril on kidney in patients with primary hypertension.【Methods】Sixty-four patients with primary hypetension were randomized into telmisartan group and fosinopril group.【Results】After six weeks treatment,blood pressure,urinary albumin and N-acetyl-β-D-Glucosidase(NAG) decreased significantly(P0.05);and there was not difference between two groups.【Conclusion】Telmisartan and Fosinopril have protective effect on kidney in patients with primary hyertension.
