Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of Maixuekang capsule on old patients with convalescing cerebral infarction. Methods 180 patients aged 60 years or older convalescent patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into study group (n=90) and control group (n=90). Both groups were given oral compound Danshen tablets, nimodipine tablets, aspirin enteric-coated tablets, piracetam tablets and other conventional treatment, and control of blood glucose, blood lipids, blood pressure. The study group on that basis was given oral Maixuekang capsule (4 pills tid). The study course was 6 weeks for both group. Results In study group, the total effective rate was 92.22%, while in control group that was 77.78%.The study group was better than the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). Blood rheology indexes were significantly improved in the study group (P0.05), while those indicators were not significantly improved in the control group (P0.05). Both groups had no apparent adverse reaction. Conclusion Maixuekang capsule in the treatment of senile cerebral infarction in convalescence is very effective and safe.
