Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of amiodarone in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)with atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods We selected 60 cases of AMI with AF and divided them into two groups:treatment group and control group, and the treatment group was treated with amiodarone and the control group, with propafenone. The cardioversion rate of AF within 24h,the sinus rhythm maintenance rate within 30 days after conversion and the side effects were observed. Results The conversion rate of the treatment group was 86.7%,and after conversion and the sinus rhythm maintenance rate was 76.7%.The conversion rate of the control group was 80.0%,and after conversion, the rhythm maintenance rate was 40%.Conclusion Amiodarone is effective and safe in the treatment of AMI with AF and it can be widely used.
