Comparative Analysis of Growth and Development Performance on Poll Dorset,Texel,and Small-tail Han Sheep in Summer

In order to compare the growth and development performance and adaptability of the Poll Dorset,Texel and Small-tail han sheep,the growing development targets as follows: birth weight,weaning weight,withers height,body weight,body length,circumference and circumference of cannon bone were measured and slaughter analyzed.The results showed that the introduction of two varieties of birth weight and weaning weight were not significantly different,and characteristics of rapid early growth and development had a better play,their height,weight,and carcass traits were higher than the Small-tail han sheep.,showing a good performance and adaptability of meat.The carcass weight,psoas muscle weight,thigh weight and eye muscle area were higher than Small-tail han sheep with after fattening in Poll Dorset and Texel(P0.05).While the Small-tail han sheep in withers height,body weight and body length of these three targets of fattening rate were higher than another two breeds.
