Abstract
The indexes of growth and deVelopment were determined for sirst filial generation of Poll Dorset and half-blood Han-sheep with small-tail(F1)at the birth and at the age of three and six months,the results showed that The live weight of F1 lamb at the birth,at the age of three and six months were 4.21,18.31 and 30.31kg which increased 0.97,3.85and 8.29kg than that of half-blood Han-sheep with small-tall(P0.01),respectively.The withers height,the body length,the chest girth,the chest width and the thurl width of F1 lamb were more than those of contemporary half-blood Han-sheep with small-tail(P0.01).
