Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship of the AT1 R gene A1166C polymorphism with hypertensive in Chinese people. Find the pathogenoss of hypertension from the molecule level and give theory to support the diagnostic, the cure and the research of hypertension. Methods:AT1 R genotype with technique of PCR-RFLP in 83 subjects with hypertension and in 64 healthy subjects, the difference of gene distribution in EH group was compared with that in control group. It was analyzed the relation of AT1 R gene AT1 R polymorphism to essential hypertension. Results:The frequency of AT1R genotype AA. AC. CC was 57. 8%. 38. 6%. 3.6% in EH group respectively, compared with 67.2% 29.7%, 2. 79% in normal group, there was no statistical difference ( P 0. 05). Conclusion: We find the frequency of c allele in hypertension is higher than that in normal group, but there is no statistical significance, it can not be sured that there is relationship of AT1R gene A1166C polymorphism with hypertension
