Abstract
Objective To discuss the characteristics of cervical cancer and provide basis for early diagnosis of treatment. Methods The clinical data concerning 3 328 cervical cancer patients diagnosed from January 2001 to December 2004 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Cervical inflammation lesions were observed in 88% of the patients, CIN accounted for 7%, cervical evasive cancer 0.3%. 632 cases were infected with HPV of which benign cervical lesions accounted for 64% and cervical evasive cancer accounted for 90%. The positive rate for HPV in the patients with benign cervical lesions was obviously lower than that of the CIN (P0.01). The peak infection of HPV occurred To the age groups of 18-28 years, while peak infection of cervical cancer was in the age group of 30-48 years. Continuous infection with HPV, multiple sexual partners and STD patients are the high risk factors. Conclusion Attention be paid to the early diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer and measures be taken for management of the high risk age group.
