Clinical Significance of HPV Detection in the Screening Before Pathological Changes in 60 Cases of Cervical Cancer

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of HPV detection in the screening before pathological changes in 60 cases of cervical cancer.Methods 60 cases of cervical cancer in our hospital from February 2009 to 2011 were chosen,and high-grade cervical lesions(30cases),low-grade cervical lesions(30 cases) and cervical inflammation(30 cases) were selected respectively as control groups.HPV virus DNA in blood was tested by PCR amplification reaction and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.Then HPV-positive detection rate in each group and its relevance to cervical cancer were analyzed.Results Detection rate of HPV virus DNA in cervical cancer group,high-grade cervical lesions group,low-grade cervical lesions group and cervical inflammation group was 60.00%,36.67%,23.3% and 16.67% respectively.The HPV-16 in each group was 31.66%,16.67%,13.33% and 10.0% and the HPV-18 was 38.33%,20.0%,16.67% and 6.67%.Detection rate of HPV viral DNA in cervical cancer group was higher than the other three groups(P 0.05).Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between cervical cancer and HPV-16 /18 positive rate.Conclusion There is a significant correlation between the incidence of cervical cancer and HPV infection.HPV detection is an important auxiliary method in the early diagnosis of cervical cancer;it is of great significance in the diagnosis of cervical cancer and its precancerous lesions,and therefore has great application value.
