Abstract

The professional quality of college English teachers is closely related to the performance of higher English education. But the present practice is far from satisfactory. It's urgent for college English teachers to make some changes. This paper explores the ways to enhance the college English's professional achievements in three aspects: professional skills, teaching methods and scientific research ability.
