Abstract

It is one of the important aspects to carry out the professional development of college English teachers in the process of college English teaching.Combined with the talking to some college English teachers,the current situation of college English teaching is analyzed.The problems existing in their professional fields and the necessi-ty of developing their professional abilities are pointed out and at the same time,some personal views on it are put forward.
