Abstract

An experiment was conducted on crossbred of Suffolk(♂) and Qinghai meat and wool using fine-wool sheep(♀).The result showed that weights at birth,6 months,chest width at one year,rear width,body length,carcass weight at 5 months,net meat weight,ratio of meat and bone increased by 2.57%,19.74%,9.20%,6.24%,10.30%,45.6% and 16.56%,respectively.The crossbred effect was significant.
