Abstract
Based on wool keeping-mutton increasing strategy,northeast fine-wool sheep meat population,developed from South Africa mutton merino×northeast fine-wool sheep,was detected and assessed in lamb growth and slaughter traits,meat traits and wool traits.The results indicated that intensity fattening is suitable for crossbred lambs in housing fattening manner;It is sensitive to high nutritional level;Average daily gain is above 180 g;Dressing percentage is more than 45%;Wool fibre diameter is 23 μm and wool length is 13 cm in adult female sheep.Compared with northeast fine-wool sheep,the difference in wool traits is not significant.
