Abstract
Synthesis of ethyl hexanoate from ethyl alcohol and hexanoic acid with solid superacid SO 2- 4/TiO 2/La 3+ as catalyst was studied. The results show that the appropriate conditions are:weight of catalyst 0.5 g(weight of hexanoic acid, 0.2 mol; molar ratio of ethyl alcohol to hexanoic acid, 2.0∶1; reaction time, 2.0 h; water carrying reagent (benzene), 15 mL. yield, about 96.8%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
