Abstract

Objective To research the best method of extracting DNA from Radix Scrophularia.Method DNA was extracted by SDS and CTAB respectively,and the concentration of nucleic acids was determined with the electrophoretic analysis.Result The bands of DNA extracted by SDS could be observed clearly on gel and extracted by CTAB revealed the dispersion phenomenon.Conclusion The method of extracting DNA by SDS is better than that by CTAB.
