Abstract

OBJECTIVE To estimate the clinical efficacy of moxifloxacin in the treatment of urinary tract infection.METHODS The trial design was randon, open, and parallel contro1.195 patients with urinary tract infection were involved.176 cases evaluated were randomly divided into the treatment group or the control.90 patients in treatment group were given 400mg moxifloxacin capsule for 7~14d,while 86 patients in control group were given 200mg levofloxacin capsule twice a day for 7~14d.RESULTS The total clinical effective rate of case and control group were 97.8%and 91.9%respectively,and the bacterial eliminating rate were 96.7%and 94.2% respectively, and the rate of adverse reaction were 7.78%and 9.30% respectively. There was no a significant difference between both gioups(P0.05).CONCLUSION Moxifloxacin is a very antibiotic in treating urinary tract infection with a few adverse reaction and convenient administration.
