Abstract
Objective To learn the levels of the body mass index(BMI),blood pressure(BP),blood glucose and serum lipids of the rural adults in Juchao district, and provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.Methods709 persons in Chaohu district were selected as the subjects of sampling survey of china nutritional and health surveillance in 2009,and their BMI,BP,blood glucose and serum lipids were tested and analyzed.ResultsThe abnormal rates of their BMI,BP,blood glucose and serum lipids were 42.7%,17.3%,8.2% and 31.7% respectively. The abnormal rates of their BP and blood glucose had significant differences between males and females(P0.05),but the rates of their BMI and serum lipids in two groups were not different obviously(P0.05).The abnormal of BMI,BP and blood glucose increased with the rise of age, decreased until old age.The abnormal of serum lipids was the most highest in people aged between 18 and 29,and it was the lowest in people aged over 70.The BP,blood glucose and serum lipids increased with the rise of BMI(χ2=44.48,P=0.000;χ2=12.31,P=0.006;χ2=64.31,P=0.000).ConclusionThe prevention and treatment of chronic diseases among rural adults in Juchao district must be done without delay.
