Abstract
Objective To explore a short-term clinical effect of auto-continuous positive airway pressure(Auto-CPAP) in treatment of patients with different degree obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods All 40 patients with OSAHS confirmed diagnosis through polysomnography(PSG) were treated by Auto-CPAP(2 days),and the apnea-hypopnea index(AHI),the lowest oxygen saturation(LSaO2) and the cumulated time of less than 90% oxygen saturation(90%SaO2 time) before and after treatment were compared. Results After the Auto-CPAP treatment, all the index mentioned above were significantly improved,AHI decreased from(49.03±21.82) to(7.49±5.34)events per hour,LSaO2 increased from(71.78±11.41)% to(90.43±3.49)%,and the cumulated time of less than 90% oxygen saturation deduced from(73.16±84.80)min to(0.82±3.17)min(P0.01).Conclusions Auto-CPAP therapy can obviously reduce the respiratory events and improve nocturnal hypoxemia of patients with different degree OSAHS in short-term.
