Abstract

Objective To explore the application selection of continuous positive airway pressure(CPAP)or auto-continuous positive airway pressure(Auto-CPAP)on the treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods 60 light-median(AHI≤40)OSAHS patients and 60 severe(AHI40)OSAHS patients respectively received CPAP treatment and Auto-CPAP treatment, and the polysomngrapy(PSG)parameter changes were analyzed in the pre-and post-treatment.Results The light-median patients with CPAP treatment and the severe patients with Auto-CPAP treatment showed obvious improvement in the sleep structure, which were manifested as changes of sleep latency(SL),sleep efficiency(SE),number of WASO(wake after sleep onset),time of NREM Ⅰ+Ⅱ over total sleep time, time of NREMⅢ+Ⅳ and REM over total sleep time,apnea-hypopnea index(AHI)and nighttime mean SaO2(M SaO2)and the lowest SaO2(L SaO2)(P0.05).Conclusions The CPAP therapy was better than Auto-CPAP therapy in the patients with light-median(AHI≤40)OSAHS,and the Auto-CPAP therapy was better than CPAP therapy in the severe(AHI40)OSAHS patients.
