Evaluation of Metformin in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) to Promote the Role of Ovulation Treatment

Objective To metformin in polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) to promote the role of ovulation treatment were analyzed and discussed.Methods The 30 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),randomly divided into two groups.The observation group 15 patients,using oral metformin treatment of 12 weeks;15 patients in control group,the high purity follicle stimulating hormone(FSH-HP) treatment,the two groups before and after treatment in patients with serum FSH,corpus luteum formation hormone(LH),testosterone(T),LH/FSH and fasting insulin(INS) level,and then compare evaluation of metformin in polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) to promote the role of ovulation treatment.Results Two groups of patients before and after treatment serum FSH,corpus luteum formation hormone(LH),testosterone(T),LH/FSH and fasting insulin(INS) specific changes to observe group after treatment of FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T and INS change obviously,there is significant difference,there is statistical significance,comparability(P0.05).Control group after treatment FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T and INS change is not obvious,no significant difference,no statistical significance,no comparability(P0.05).Two groups of patients after treatment,observation group of ovulation rate and pregnancy rate and threatened abortion rate is significantly better than control group,two groups have significant difference,there is statistical significance,comparability(P0.05).Conclusion Metformin for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) has certain promoting ovulation effect,the treatment effect is good,can significantly increase pregnancy rate,ovulation rate,reduce the rate of miscarriage rate,and has the certain clinical application value.
