Abstract

Objective To explore the curative effect of repair of anterior residual crown and root by fiber Post and resin core. Methods 48 cases and 60 teeth at all were randomly divided into experimental group (n=30), control group were repaired by metal crown. and experimental group were repaired by fiber post and resin core. Results One-year success rate in both groups had no significant difference (p0.05), but there was significant difference in the two-year success rate (p0.05). Control group was 76.67%, and experimental group reached up to 96.67%, experimental group were significantly better than control group. Conclusion Repair of anterior residual crown and root by fiber post and resincore was safe and effectual, and can significantly enhance treatment effect, so it deserved application and promotion in clinical work.
