Clinical observation of curative effect of Tongxinluo capsule for hyperlipidemia

Objective:To probe into the clinical effect of Tongxinluo capsule for hyperlipi-demia.Method:The changes of blood lipid were respectively investigated after a month's treatment with Tongxinluo capsule in the study group(48cases)and with Simvastatin in the controll group(40cases).Results:Marked improvements were found in29cases and improvements in17cases in the study group,the effective rate being95.8%,showing significant differences(P0.01)from the control group.In the lowering of total cholesterin(TC),total glyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),and in the increasing of high-density lipoprotein(HDL),there were also differences between the two groups with statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion:Tongxinluo capsule can not only significantly reduce the levels of TC,TG,LPL and BV but also increase the level of HPL and without marked side-effects.The evidence shows that Tongxinluo capsule is effective for hyperlipidemia.
