Abstract

Objective To evaluate the influence of community-based group intervention on treatment of hypertensive patients.Methods 120 cases of hypertension in the community intervened.Intervention strategies including health education,behavioral intervention,follow-up intervention.Checking the changes of blood pressure,risk factors,and complications of treatment regularly.Results Comparisons before and after intervention showed awareness rate of hypertension,patient satisfaction,risk factors and patient's compliance were significantly improved.Conclusions Community intervention is an effective way to control hypertension and fits the actual situation for the community.It deserves promotion.
