OBJECTIVE To explore the influence of non-drug intervention of lifestyle-related-issues on hypertensive patients. METHODS hypertensive patients were intervened in various aspects and through various methods such as health knowledge missionary related with hypertensive patients, reasonable diet, weight control, regular physical exercise, no-smoking and alcohol limit, balanced state of mind keeping and the like, and the effect of intervention was analyzed. RESULTS The blood pressure control rate of patients after intervention in the community was significantly higher than that before the intervention; the behavior changes of the intervention objects in the aspects of taking medicine in time, smoking, alcohol consumption, salt intake and exercise and the like have significant effect before and after the intervention.CONCLUSION Intervention of lifestyle-related-issues in patients with hypertension can effectively control hypertension, and behavioral interventions should be widely carried out in the community health service center.
