Xuefeng Xiaoyu No.7 is a new small fruited seeded F1 hybrid watermelon variety using inbred line WE218 as female parent and inbred line ES206 as male parent.The plant is vigorous,resistant to disease and easy to set fruit.The fruit is high globe shaped with dark green skin and dark stripes.The total growing period is about 86 days,and the fruit matures about 26 days after pollination.The rind is about 0.5 cm.The flesh is yellow and crisp with the soluble solid contents about 12%.Average fruit weight is 2.5 kg and the 667 m2yield is 1 500-3 500 kg.Xuefeng Xiaoyu No.7 is suitable for production in open field and protected field in Hunan,Beijing,Jiangxi,Jiangsu and other areas with similar climate conditions.
