MINERAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT BASED ON NON-TRADITIONAL MINERAL RESOURCES CONCEPT

Abstract

As an increasing demand for mineral resources,the mineral resources categories also rise,which, consequently,leads an update in the mineral resources management.The existing management concepts lag behind the mining industry.This paper,based on the non-traditional mineral resources concept,analyzes the development status, expands the relation between non-traditional and traditional mineral resources,discusses the necessity of using nontraditional mineral resources concept to manage the mineral resources,and reveals the future management,aiming at an innovative mineral resources management,which provides a strong guarantee to social and economic development.
