Abstract
To understand the demands of eight-year program medical students for two-phased teaching in medical statistics, the students who had finished medical statistics were surveyed.76 survey questionnaires were distributed and 74 were collected.59.5% of the students feel single-phase teaching is not enough in their study and working.73% think that it is urgently required to promote two-phased teaching. The students also advise that teaching cases should be designed based closely on clinic and scientific research. The teaching of statistical software should be highlighted and the new methods of statistics should be introduced.During the two-phased teaching, teachers should use various teaching methods.
