Abstract

Ushape aqueduct plan is one of several plans across the Yellow River in the middle route of southtonorth water transfer project. Its threedimensional finite element calculation is done on the basis of consideration of loads such as prestress, temperature, seismic inertia force and dynamic water pressure. And the computing results indicate that the Ushape aqueduct has good deformation and stress conditions and is an appropriate structure.
