Abstract

To improve productivity and control level of hot strip mill,automatic control system for reheating furnace of 1549mm hot strip mill was reformed in TISCO.Reformed automatic control system of reheating furnace consists of level 1 basic automation system and level 2 process automation system.Level 1 basic automation system includes instrument control system and electric control system,among them,the former is used for combustion control of reheating furnace and the later used for control of electric equipment.Level 2 process automation system is applied to achieve data checking,data track and data setting of slab.Hardware configuration and system structure of automatic control system for reheating furnace of 1549mm hot strip mill in TISCO are introduced.Content of electric basic automatic control is explained.Agility control partition function of reheat furnace for precise combustion and level 2 data track function are described in detail.The system has been put into use and good effect was obtained.
