Abstract
Objective:To study the expression of survivin and its location in cell and its relationship with clinicopathological features in the nonsmall cell lung carcinoma. Methods:The expression of survivin and its location was examined by immunohistochemical method in the specimens of 50 cases of NSCLC.The relationship between the expression of survivin and its location and the age、sex、histological types、differentiation、P-TNM stage、lymph nodes metastases was analysed by using the χ2 test. Results:The urvivin protein expression rate was 62.0% in 50 cases of NSCLC. The expression rate of survivin was 51.61%(8/31) in cytoplasm and 25.8%(16/31) in nucleus. The expression rate of survivin was 22.58%(7/31) in cytoplasm and nucleus. The expression of survivin and its location in cell was significantly associated with lymph nodal metastases(P0.005),but not with the age、sex、histological types、differentiation、P-TNM stage(P0.005).Conclusion:The different expression of survivin in nucleus and cytoplasm would be related with lymph nodal metastases.
